Best Fudge Brownies

Appropriately…this version of these fudge brownies was inspired by the fine people here:

Our version is lazier, or at least less pretentious
Oven at 325f or 160C

  • 1/2 Cup plus 2 TBSP melted butter or if you’re supremely lazy, about 2/3C butter – I mean really, who ever died of too much butter…
  • 1 1/4 Cups Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup plus 2 TBSP Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 Cup flour

Optional:

  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Black Walnuts
  • dash of powdered sugar
  • stream of chocolate syrup

In a mixing bowl, mix first 5 ingredients together until well blended.
add eggs and flour and mix again until batter is smooth

Add nuts if you want.

Pour into 8×8 baking dish and bake at 325f for 35 minutes.

Wait 20 min for it to cool down to just warm and serve with powdered sugar, chocolate syrup, and a sprig of mint for extra pretentious points. We didn’t have any mint. Sad.

The best brownies ever, and they’re easy to make, almost no special ingredients, and you’re having a delicious dessert in about an hour.

Next time I might try adding a tsp…or maybe even a TBSP of chipotle powder, because just like with bacon, chipotle makes everything better!

Let us know how it works out for you!
